Microwave technology has been widely used in areas not only in daily life but also in military technology. Especially high power microwave has a very important role in national defense science and technology. So the research of high power microwave technology has become the national key research projects. The high power microwave system is mainly composed of high power microwave source, mode conversion and transmission, emission of subsystem, this thesis mainly studies the transmission device of the high power microwave transmission system, it includes the mode converter and mode transition, the mode converter is one mode transfor to another mode, the transitionis that the mode of transmission is not change. In this paper, I study that the working frequency of 24.13 GHz TE11 transition and 24.13 GHz TE01 transition device are studied, and the TM11- HE11 mode converter. These are thesis mainly works as follows:1. According to the theory of coupled wave, I deduced the equations of the radius not change axis bended circular waveguide and and the axis constant taper circular waveguide, and the concrete expression of the coupling coefficient.2. I ues the MATLAB programming calculation to solve the coupled wave equations, and by using the program I optimize the transmission device structure, then using high frequency simulation software to modeling and simulating, to verify whether the design is reasonable.3. By analyzing the taper circular waveguide, deduced the design principle of the transition, I design that the transition device which working frequency of 24 GHz TE11 mode and working frequency of 24.13 GHz TE01 mode, using MATLAB program for numerical calculation, at the same time the simulation modeling with CST, and comparison, the results of numerical calculation and simulation results are in good consistency.4. Through the pattern matching method to design a working frequency of 35 GHZ circles of TM11- HE11 mode converter, using the MATLAB for numerical calculation, and simulation modeling with CST, and comparison, the results of numerical calculation and simulation results were analyzed.
