With the development of high technology, especially with the development of the mobile internet technology, Android smart phone system has emerged in response to the needs of time. It has gone through years of improving and optimizing, and the number of its mobile apps boom in an explosive way. All kinds of apps proliferate, bringing changes to every aspect of people’s lives. The mobile market, as an upstream application, has been seen as an important channel for the clients to get apps and service. Nowadays, it has become a kind of standard configuration, in which clients can efficiently download the apps they need with great freedom, and manage the apps in their phones in great convenience.As mobile users get involved more in the intelligence system, they also demand more from the mobile market, but some simple-functional mobile markets cannot meet these rising demands. So this research is aimed at designing a new mobile market, based on the analysis of the new demands from the clients.This thesis discusses the relevant development techniques in the mobile application market, such as J2 EE, Android, database, Json, etc. Then, the uml technique is employed to analyze users’ needs in the mobile application market, and said users’ needs include downloading application, updating application, managing application, checking evaluations of the application, commenting application, checking recommended application, checking application lists, etc. Further, the thesis designs the back-end server and front-end server in the mobile application market, and expounds the detailed design and realization of the whole mobile application market by analyzing the design and realization of each module.Function test and performance test are made to test the system after the development of the mobile application market system is completed. The result of the tests showed that the system satisfy the function need and performance need, the system has excellent stability and concurrency, and the client system has good user experience.
