In 2010, a long history of autobiographical comic "A Chinese person’s life" has been published.This book was completed by YuNnan cartoonist Li Kunwu and French writer P. Oti.The book has a unique story theme, reproduce the historical narrative scenes, the new painting style, warm and simple humanistic care.The book won the readers love, and won several international award.Many foreign readers understand China through this book, and developed an interest in China.This book is about more than 50 years of my life.It is my growth process and the development of new China.During this period, with all kinds of joys and sorrows, life is bittersweet.Foreign readers can through an ordinary Chinese people’s daily life, for China’s national image has a preliminary outline, so as to change the past misreading or prejudice to China’s national image.The book has a total of 3 copies, is about my life experience. Xiao Li is a microcosm of Chinese society and the age of the Chinese people.The book by the daily life of ordinary Chinese people, to build China’s national image.Through the images of the scene about that period of history, for the foreign readers understand the China. The book provides a good model how to spread for our China’s cultural products. We should look for reasons behind in many phenomena.How to construct the Chinese image?In today’s society, national image as a cultural phenomenon, why is able to provide Chinese culture output solid mass base?With the advent of the era of globalization, the state and the connection between the countries increasingly close, a country can’t independence from the surrounding environment. Economic and political factors is not enough to show a country’s comprehensive strength and international influence, culture has become a national important evaluation criteria of "soft power". As a kind of cultural discourse generally, national image is a country’s internal public and external public behavior, of the country itself, countries all kinds of activities and results of the overall evaluation and cognitive structure, and has been included in the discourse system of art. For domestic public, national image will affect the national individual cognition to the country, which affects the national cohesion and sense of belonging. For foreign public, establishing good image of the country to improve a nation’s cultural soft power is crucial, which affects the sustainable development of the country.Based on the above discussion,this paper from five parts to elaborate and argument. The first part, firstly the paper analyzed the research background and research significance. From both international and domestic background respectively, construct the importance of China’s image. In the background is proposed on the basis of the study is of practical value and academic value of meaning;The second part, to study related literature and works to do a literature review, carry out to provide theoretical support for the next paper. On the basis of the study design, use the literature analysis and case analysis to ensure comprehensive and objective research results; The third part, analysis of the book on communication;The fourth part, text analysis of this book; The fifth part, to the international spread of Chinese culture products put forward some constructive opinions and Suggestions.
