Nowadays, the whole society has been stepping into the information era, Internet life and data integration are closely related with our daily life, abundant data integration has resulted in an escalation of the IDC room, the hardware and software equipment and in the meantime the intellectualized and real-time monitoring and management to the IDC room have always been discussed. Because of such a close relation between the data information and social life, the cost due to the abnormal operation of the IDC room could be tremendous, that’s why the intellectualized monitoring to the IDC room the so significant. While the present monitoring of the IDC room system has the disadvantages of wiring difficulties, abundant system volume and maximum power consumption.The ZigBee technology has been developed fast and widely used, while the real-time monitoring and environment data collecting are even more widely used.This paper proposed a new solution which is a wireless monitoring system based on the ZigBee protocol and designed a development planning and operating ways of the monitoring system, under a thorough understanding of the IDC room monitoring condition and the real difficulty of the unit. Through the production of the hardware system, the compiling of the hardware control procedure and the writing of the visualized monitoring software, the whole production of the monitoring system has been finished. The main idea and the result are as the following:1. Make a comparision between the advantages of the present short-distance wireless communication technology; determine the ZigBee protocol as the wireless transmitting way to the IDC room monitoring. Learn the internet model of the ZigBee protocol, the contonet of the protocol and the allocation of the route.2. By analyzing the application requirements of the monitoring system, the hardware requirements and the functional requirements of the software, the functions of the system are determined. On the basis of the above, the main content, technical route and implementation plan of the system are put forward.3.In accordance with the technical route and implementation scheme, after analyzing the sensor chip selection, using protell software design hardware schematic diagram and PCB diagram, making hardware system; the IAR7.1 hardware control program to realize the function of monitoring system; visual monitoring platform using the language of C# design, achieve good man-machine interface.4.Completed the monitoring system debugging and testing, and the test results are analyzed, the test results can meet the requirements of the monitoring system, to achieve the system goals.Finally, to China Civil Aviation Flight University of Guanghan branch ATC station meteorological observatory network computer room and radar machine room for monitoring, real-time monitoring of the physical environment and the state of the network will monitor the data visualization in the environment parameter acquisition system, and the realization of data recording, so avoidance alarm function.
