By 2016, the number of netizens in China has nearly 690 million and the penetration of the Internet is more than 50%, the Internet has become an indispensable tool for many people, changed many aspects of our life. At the same time, now it is the era of knowledge economy, for individuals and groups and institutions, expand lifelong learning, improve the level of knowledge management is the trend, so many organizations and individuals begin knowledge sharing activities through virtual communities on the network. Using virtual communities to share knowledge and experience is a new way and a new form of knowledge sharing, and has a great potential fon development, also attracted the attention and interest of many scholars, but at present, the study of virtual community knowledge sharing performance evaluation is relatively less, especially for the performance evaluation of interest-type research virtual community is scarce. So the purpose of this paper is to study evaluation index system for inerest-oriented virtual communities, to provide a reference for evaluating knowledge sharing situation in interest-oriented virtual communities. This paper first consulted many relevant literature, on the basis of synthesis, induction and extending, then put forward a set of index system to evaluate knowledge sharing performance in interest-oriented virtual communities, and used analytic hierarchy process (ahp) to determine the weights of every index, constructed the evaluation model, and then selected 3 well-known interst-oriented virtual communities, applied this evaluation model to the empirical study, using a questionnaire to collect community participants’ views and evaluation, then statistics the findings and the results were analyzed, finally provided some management suggestions for enhancing the knowledge sharing performance in interested-oriented virtual communities. This paper is divided into three parts to discuss the performance evaluation of interest-type virtual community knowledge sharing. The first part is the first two chapters, the first chapter is the introduction, the second chapter is the literature review. The introduction mainly explains the background and significance, the research ideas and methods, as well as research content and innovation points of this paper. In this chapter, the main structure and work of this paper were planning. In the second chapter, the theoretical achievements related to this study are collected and carded, it mainly reviewed the study results of the virtual community, knowledge sharing, and virtual communities sharing knowledge, these are the theoretical basis of the the evaluation index system constructed in this paper. The second part is the middle two chapters, the third chapter is the construction of evaluation index system, the fourth chapter is the assignment of index weight. In the third chapter, based on the previous review and analysis of literature, based on the research subjects and research ideas, designed a evaluation system of interest-type virtual community knowledge sharing performance, finally identified an evaluation system that contained 4 first class indicators and 19 second class indicators, and the meaning of each individual indicators were defined and described. In the fourth chapter, the analytic hierarchy process (ahp) suitable for this study was chosen to determine the weight, the weights of indicators has been determined, all the work of constructing the index system was completed. The third part is the last two chapters, the fifth chapter is the empirical investigation and analysis, the sixth chapter is the summary of this paper and prospect. In the fifth chapter, first select 3 famous representative and comparative well-known interest communities as evaluation objects, handled questionnaires to active users in these 3 communities, then the results of the investigation carried out to statistics and calculations, and the cause of the evaluation results were discussed in detail, at last, provided some management suggestions. The sixth chapter is the ending of the article, that summarized the research work and the shortage of this paper, and discussed the related research in the future.
