The capital theory of Pierre Bourdieu is divided into three basic forms: economic capital,, cultural capital and social capital. Cultural capital can be defined as contains gives the accumulation of power and status of cultural knowledge, a kind of social relations, different from the economic capital and social capital, and other forms of capital, it mainly refers to the type of knowledge, skills, education, etc.Social capital,is a kind of common due to collection resource that exists in reality, these resources related to the Social network architecture, and the network system, more or less based on the basis of mutual benefit and mutual recognition between members.This paper from the perspective of Bourdieu’s social capital theory, in contact with habitus and field theory, with the specific media event for case study object by Chai jing, for as the body dimensions of social capital, in-depth studies are trace how internalization of sociall capital accumulation, flow, and converted to other forms of capital. The capital in the process of transformation and reproduction is always accompanied by transmission power discourse and the interaction between social power interweave, let us focuses on how the capital through production and conversion to expand individual discourse transmitted ability, and how to construct the spread of opinion leaders status and public issues, etc. As the focus in this paper, we will discuss all these problems.This thesis to Bourdieu’s social capital theory as the research angle of view, Chaijing’s haze investigative documentary the media events online observation, through text analysis, questionnaire survey, interviews and other research methods, from the brand of "Chai Jing" as the starting point, study the media this special group of opinion leaders how to accumulate and produce their own social capital, and will be internalized transformation of social capital to other forms of significant capital, on the one hand to form their own professional experience based, on the other hand construct as opinion leaders of social status and social identity. From the source said Bourdieu’s capital theory on social capital as the core of several forms of capital,in a certain extent can be transformed, cultural capital, social capital and othernon-economic capital. In the development of modern society,social capital,cultural capital, other non-economic capital in the process of social influence and personal identity construction occupies more and more important position, relative to economic capital, non-economic capital more concealed, also more far-reaching. Starting from Chaijing’s issue, interpret the formation process of a hot topic, to reflect personal social capital in the various social field opinion leaders’ ability of discourse power and the important role of the construction of public issues.From the analysis of Chaijing cases, through the introduction of Pierre Bourdieu’s social capital theory, and the convergence of the concept of field, social distinction, binding and Foucault’s discourse power analysis, in the era of new media analysis opinion leaders in the unique position and the power of transmission caused the generalization of discourse transfer, discuss how the personal views to construct the social public issues.The first chapter is mainly about the whole process of the Chaijing’s media events show, reveals the formation of a sensational effect, and why it will become a hot public issues.In-depth interpret "Chaijing" and "under the dome " these two communication symbols, as well as Chaijing’s personal media strategy and media use skills.The second chapter focus on Chaijing’s study, in the form of a questionnaire survey and depth interview to investigate medium users for popularity and understanding of Chaijing and her haze documentary, in order to construct Chaijing social cognitivev. In the process of information dissemination of new media era, the capital flow is communication power source, the social capital become individual discourse with the public, the new media makes the individual relying on their own social capital can get resources and power of communication.The conclusion reflect operation, transformation and reproduction of social capital in the era of new media. Is not only voice transmission, more important is the ability to put forward public issues, or publish opinion on public issues, capital and technology empowerment jointly formed the media event of public issues under the new media era production and spread quickly. Here to reflect and explore the impact of underlying social capital for the transmission of power and the influence of social public issues in the new media era.
