The Design And Implementation Of CMTS Routing Monitoring System Based On SDN

In the current era of rapid development of Internet information, people’s lives are increasingly dependent on the Internet, but also the development of home TV antenna from outdoor to indoor cable to digital TV now, in which case the cable is connected to the Internet has become a trend, Cisco network equipment, routing derivatives CMTS equipment to complete the requirement that cable operators to deliver high-speed Internet access to home TV. At a time when operators are more focused on this type of equipment running in a network node, and to monitor, manage devices, the monitoring system for such devices as the main solutions to current problems.Cable operators existing CMTS monitoring, mainly through a network engineer remotely connected network devices, and troubleshooting through the command line, monitoring system status by HyperTerminal; this way is inefficiency, high cost, and can not be done while monitoring more devices with various parameters. Therefore, Cisco develops the monitoring system to help operators make better use of equipment.The paper focuses on the design and implementation of CMTS routing based SDN monitoring system, carry out the following tasks:(1) Introducing the related technology including SDN, OSGI, OpenDaylight, ehcache, hibernate framework, and analyze their core concept and advantages.(2) According to users’requirement outlined the overall project design ideas, and dividing modules by function, designing the system data structures. Introducting the design of system architecture, from web layer to service layer and data persistence layer.(3) Based on the system requirements analysis and design, describing clearly the warehouse center, spectrum analysis, and implementation of health monitoring.
