Digital library, in essence, is an information resources system that utilizes digital technology to store information of different formats and across various geographic locations which can be then inter-regionally and object-oriented queried and disseminated through the internet. It, consisting of the processing, storage, retrieval, transmission and use of information, has more advantages over the traditional library. However, with the development of cloud computing technology and that of demands on building digital library, the digital library is facing a series of challenges, such as information and data sharing, data investigation, intelligent retrieval, mass storage, etc. Construction of Digital Library Resource Integration based on cloud computing technology can effectively solve independent and decentralized construction problems of digital library and achieve integration and optimization of resources, long-term preservation of data, providing intelligence and data mining research in-depth analysis.In this paper, digital library technologies architecture based on SOA and underlying IT infrastructure based on private cloud computing technology including storage resources, network resources and computing resources has been designed from trends in cloud computing technology, digital library development industry analysis and related professional and technical dimensions.In particular, innovative design of an open architecture mass storage based on x86 technology is designed and verified which is a good solution to the mass content storage requirements proposed by digital library construction.
