The emergence of cloud computing in recent years has greatly influenced traditional understanding of infrastructure architecture,data transmission and other aspects.With the development of mobile networks and cloud computing,compute-intensive services are gradually shifting to the cloud,and mobile devices are often used as an interface to access these services.As a result,cyber threats have become increasingly numerous and complex,which threats the security of users' private data at all times.In the traditional service mode,users' data is completely stored in the cloud.In other words,users lose the control of their data.Data stored in the cloud will face threats such as data loss and malicious modification.In addition,there is a huge waste of resources in traditional cloud storage,and the storage efficiency needs to be further improved.Therefore,we propose a new cloud storage architecture based on fog computing.In our scheme,users' private data is stored in the cloud server and the fog server respectively.By encoding,the integrity,availability and confidentiality of users' data are guaranteed.In order to improve the traditional cloud storage in both security and efficiency,a series of security mechanisms and efficient synchronization algorithms are designed for the cloud storage system based on fog computing.The main research work is as follows:(1)Based on traditional cloud storage architecture,the fog computing mode is introduced to establish a secure cloud storage architecture.This architecture takes good advantage of the storage capacity of fog nodes in fog computing.The fog server assists cloud server to complete the storage of user data,thus we can fundamentally ensure the security of users' data.(2)According to the research results in the first part,this paper further improves the security mechanism in the cloud storage architecture based on fog computing.We also design a malicious modification detection mechanism and a cloud service provider feedback mechanism to create a more secure and reliable cloud service environment for users.Based on the cloud storage architecture and the designed security mechanism,a system prototype “EasySave” has been implemented.(3)After the introduction of fog server in this paper,the system structure is more complex than traditional cloud storage,and at the same time,some redundant data and resource waste will be generated.In order to make the cloud storage system more efficient,this paper offload part of work of cloud servers to the fog server.We also propose differential synchronization to reduce the amount of data uploaded.Besides,the problem of repeated modification is solved by using fog server,which greatly improves the overall working efficiency of cloud storage system.In order to solve the security and efficiency problems in traditional cloud storage,this paper does not adopt the traditional encryption or auditing methods.We introduce the fog computing mode and establish a new cloud storage architecture based on it.By using the characteristics of the fog computing,the users' data are separated in physical level.Part of its management is returned to the users,which ensures the security of the users' data.In addition,the storage capacity of fog server is utilized to minimize the redundant synchronous operation in cloud storage,which greatly improves the efficiency of cloud storage.The architecture adopted in this paper provides a new idea for future cloud storage research and makes great contributions to both academic field and practical application.
