Designing And Implementation Of The Educational Administration System In Luo Ding Polytechnic

Owing to the reform of higher education, the scale of the higher vocational colleges is expanding, the enrollment is increasing, the number of students is growing year by year, daily teaching work is becoming more and more complicated, and teaching resources is turning more and more tight in recent years. In the traditional sense, the main works in office of teaching affairs of Chinese colleges and universities are to collect data, analysis, count and issue the relevant information data. However, these information are quite complicated and the workload is very big if they were handled by the office software table files in the manual form. At the same time, the accuracy is low, not convenient to students or teachers and error-prone in this way. So the original educational management mode has been unable to meet demand. In order to deal such a large information, we should make full use of teaching resources to improve the utilization of existing resources. The educational administration staffs should be able to integrate and regularize these information for a efficient office with fast and accurate count, easy query information and network information resources sharing. All of these are extremely urgent.With the rapid development of information technology, today’s society has entered the Internet era when the paperless office on information network is more and more popular. At the same time, educational administration information management system are also more and more popular in school, but the system is not entirely suitable for ordinary school educational administration management work. A system can not be perfect in every aspects and can not solve all kinds of problems in practice. Therefore, major colleges and universities purchased or designed a suitable educational administration management information system for their own sake. The author are working in Luoding Polytechnic, which is a public full-time regular higher educational college. It has one school district, about 400 teaching and administrative staffs and more than 10000 students, and the campus network has fully covered the whole school.The author designed a network of educational information management system abased on ASP.NET technology and B/S mode for a better work efficiency, a faster flow of information, a practical situation, an informatization of teaching affairs management and a better service.The system, whose function modules include teacher information management, teaching management, student information management, student management, course management, score management, teaching material management, examination management, etc., is designed for the school educational administration personnel, teachers and students.According to the test, the system, which is simple and be able to realize information resources sharing on internet, can meet the needs of school teachers and students as well as management personnel. Besides, its maintenance is convenient with a high safety and stable performance. In short, it achieves the desired effect.
