The satellite network system is composed of satellite systems with different levels and tracks multiple types of spatial information resources in accordance with the principle of effective utilization, the organic structure of the intelligent system. It is not only a useful supplement to terrestrial broadband communications, but also has its unique properties and advantages, such as the communication distance is far, covering a wide range, not subject to geographical constraints, flexible, communication line is stable and reliable, transmission of higher quality. These characteristics make the satellite network plays an important role in the construction of information infrastructure.Routing convergence is an important index that affects the performance of network routing. Routing convergence is the process of the network synchronization in the same route selection information after some changes in the network. There is no convergence of the network may cause the packet loss or forwarding loop. But if the network has been in a constant state of convergence, it will also reduce the stability of the network. So it is important to analyze the factors that affect the route convergence and improve the convergence time of the network to improve the performance of network communication.This paper first analyzes the characteristics of the satellite network and the convergence process of the route, introduces the research status of the satellite network routing convergence technology, and analyzes and compares these technologies in detail. Based on the analysis of the characteristics of link state routing protocol and its scalability, the routing convergence technique for satellite network is proposed, which is based on the OSPF(Open Shortest Path First)protocol.(1) In the phase of fault detection, the DBFD(Dynamic Bidirectional forwarding Detection) detection technology is proposed, DBFD for each link and assigns each node reliability parameters, according to node and link reliability of dynamically adjusting the parameter of packets transmission interval end, in order to achieve rapid detection of faults in a satellite network.(2) In the LSA(Link-state advertisement)diffusion stage, using satellite network load balanced multi service weighted clustering algorithm based on the whole network is divided into a plurality of clusters of management, between the clusters by cluster heads communicate, to narrow the scope of the LSA diffusion, reducing diffusion routing overhead and queuing delay.(3) In the routing table update phase, the fault type judgment method SFTJM(Satellite Network Fault Type Judging Method) is put forward, SFTJM in the traditional timer algorithm to add fault type to determine the mechanism, so that the network fault type as a standard to determine whether or not to update the standard route, reducing the convergence time of the routing node. The simulation results show that, under the premise of ensuring the network stability, the technology optimization of the three processes of the routing convergence can effectively reduce the routing overhead and convergence time.
