Based on Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM), power line communication is applied broadly in many fields such as remote meter reading, intelligent control and so on recently. However, power line communication environment is very complex and easily affected by the random interference, particularly in the low-voltage power line communication system. Therefore, it is necessary to explore how to improve anti-interference performance of the communication. Basing on FEC baseband signal processing technology which can impove PLC amming performance effectively, the key technology of PLC system external transceiver which based on the OFDM was studied in this paper. The specific research content and the results are summarized as follows:(1) The structure of overall PLC system based on OFDM, the significance of the parameters and so on was researched. The theory of the key technology of PLC system external transceiver which is based on OFDM include scramble/descramble, interleaving/de-interleaving technology theoretical is studied.(2) Through the analysis of the conventional physical layer architecture in PLC, the structure of the PLC system external transceiver was studied.(3) The design principle of the scrambling/descrambling, channel interleaving/de-interleaving technology in PLC system external transceiver based on OFDM was finished. And their corresponding design and verification was completed.(4) The principle of the Turbo code/decode technology was explored, and turbo codec was simulated and verified by invoking the IP core module.(5) The simulation and verification of the whole PLC system external transceiver was finished.
