Modern society has entered information age. E-commerce has been brought to the attention. New business models, such as B2 B, B2 C, O2 O change the traditional marketing ways, and make the competition among enterprises increasingly fierce. Reducing the cost of transportation has become the focus of the enterprise, and also makes the logistics industry’s competition more brutal. For logistics enterprises how to better the use the information management, to improve the strength of enterprises, to improve the work efficiency, to reduce the cost of transportation, to improve service levels, has become the urgent target. How to make use of information management also becomes an important part for Logistics enterprises.This thesis aims at the practical problems in logistics industry,suggesting the combination of BD Navigation Satellite System and Global Positioning System to provide location information, to improve accuracy. BD/GPS can provide suport for each other. The theories of BD/GPS combined with teniques of GIS, can better solve the problem of vehicle transportation management in logistics enterprises. Through the actual customer investigation and related information, the actual demand of the logistics enterprise is analyzed, and the design scheme of the logistics vehicle management system based on BD/GPS/GIS is put forward. The system uses the current popular B/S model.In terms of the structure, this paper first discusses the development background and present status of the logistics industry, various problems logistics enterprises in vehicle transportation management, the corresponding solutions for problems, and briefly expounds the meaning of the solutions. Then this paper analyzes the goals and functions of logistics vehicle management system, introduces the overall design, the system architecture design, each module’s function, interface design and database design. Then the paper discusses the overall implementation of this system, the achievement of the system modules, system deployment and system test. The summary part expounds the situation and problems of logistics vehicle management system, and the future vision of this system were also discussed.The system of logistics vehicle management discussed in this paer has been running for more than two years actually, and it is very stable with full fuctions.
