Lv Bicheng is one of the first group of women who reported visible records in China. She has been "well-known in the early 20 th century, Beijing and Tianjin areas," and she was the first female editor in the history of "Ta Kung Pao." Her news events in "Ta Kung Pao" were the most concentrated in her life. During her newspaper career, she always advocated women rights. She promoted women liberation movement from women perspective. She promoted women to learn and put it into action.The main research object in this paper are the news events of Lv Bicheng when she worked as a main editor in the "Ta Kung Pao", from the beginning of her to "Ta Kung Pao" served as the first female editor to later "Liyan said" and her practice of running school. This paper collects Lv Bicheng’s published articles and expounds the main ideas of her advocacy of women rights and women emancipation in detail, researching her iconic status of women journalists in the early history of news media, positioning her impact and value on the journalists.
