Key Technologies Of The Silk-relics Expert System Based On Prolog

The research on silk relics expert system was a sub-topic of a national technology support project named the Research on Silk Relics’ Preservation and Reconstruction.By summarizing the experience and knowledge accumulated on the structure and graphic design area, we can transfer the rules on history, art or cultural area into mathematics rules and models, which helped to construct the expert system on silk relics’ reconstruction and design.This article introduced the whole process of building the expert system, mainly included three aspects:the knowledge extraction and expression, the knowledge base’s design and the reasoning framework’s construction.Based on the knowledge system extracted from the silk relics’ study on history, art and cultural area, the research proposed a three-level-structure called Pattern-Skeleton-Rule structure, which is based on the detail mathematic and logic description of the pattern, skeleton and rules by Prolog according to the production rule system.
