A Study And Design On Visual Analytics Tool Of Contextual UX Data

The rapid development of information and communication technologies makes mobile phone applications which on behalf of mobile products greatly facilitate and enrich people’s daily lives. Mobile products can be used everywhere, the traditional User Experience research methods can’t meet the needs of the mobile user experience studies. Therefore, we propose a remote user experience context awareness data collection methods, and develop a tools to assist UX research in mobile environment. Data collected by tool is derived from a particular context, and with the context has a close coupling between user experience data, we will be referred to as situational UX data. UX practitioners in the analysis of such data when there is a low efficiency of the analysis, a high degree of information loss and other issues. To solve these problems, the author puts forward the concept UX data visualization analysis tool based on the concept of situational scenarios, the use of visual and interactive elements of visual representation to help UX practitioners were situational scenarios UX data reduction and construction.This author use the method of cognitive task analysis to study UX practitioners’ data analysis process in the actual case background. Use cognitive task analysis related methods, based on the significance of the construction of cycle model, summed up the UX practitioners’ data analysis process. For each stage of the analysis we carried out user needs studies, according to the special needs of UX practitioners and combine the visual analysis of the relevant products, design and implementation of visual analysis of a situation UX supports data Meaning Construction Process tool. After initial test case, indicating that the tool helps improve situational UX data analysis process.Through the above research work, the author summarizes the contextual UX data analysis process, completing the visual analysis tool. And provide a new direction for UX research practice at the mobile Internet and pervasive computing environment.
