As an important device in microwave communication system, frequency converter is widely used in microwave measurement, wireless communication and so on. With the rapid development of the aerospace field, the demand for high performance, low cost, high integration and other performance of the inverter is increasing rapidly. High integration can bring about the compact design, high stability and high reliability of the system. Multi-channel technology is an effective technical way.Multi-channel frequency converter is an integrated electronic system with radio frequency, digital, software and hardware. Software architecture design determines the stability and availability of the system. This paper mainly discusses the embedded software and architecture of multi-channel frequency converter equipment, the characteristics of embedded software and the key points of the code implementation. The embedded software in this paper includes : external communication software, internal communication software, the internal frequency control of each module, gain control software, system power and clock management software, etc.Multi-channel control is a complex real-time multi task management process. The software modules are nested and called each other. Good structure, efficient code, reliable hardware, to work together to constitute a good inverter products.Through the software and hardware testing, the equipment can achieve the design goal. The practical engineering shows that the multi- channel frequency conversion is a very good design concept. It has been proved to be an important practical application for the standard, general purpose and integrated RF channel design.
