With the development of modern agriculture, greenhouse has been used more and more widely. At the same time, the development of information technology has also greatly contributed to the modernization and industrialization of the greenhouse. Information management is the foundation of modern greenhouse industry’s information and intelligence.According to the demand of the modern greenhouse management, related theory knowledge and summarizing the research status at home and abroad have been studied. Taking advantage of the network, modern greenhouse information management platform has been designed and implied by applying technologies such as the intelligent management technology, the rich client technology and cloud services.Wireless sensor network has been deployed for data acquisition and PLC control syste has been cmonstructed as the foundation. Combining the reality of greenhouse management operations, the functional requirements and performance requirements of the modern greenhouse information management platform have been cleared. Based on the RIA, the Flex development platform, Android development platform and SQL Server database service system have been selected. Studied the technique of data fusion, UDP communication technology, fuzzy control technology and so on, the design and implementation process of the modern greenhouse information management platform based on the technology of RIA hais been given.The main works of this paper are as follows:(1)The literature was consulted widly, the research background was analyzed, the research status of greenhouse information management system was summarized. Aiming at the shortcomings of the traditional technology in developing greenhouse information management system, RIA has been introduced and the characteristics of RIA and Flex has been studied.(2)According to the thought of software engineering, system requierments was analysised, the system structure was designed, system function was cleared and development platform and tools were selected.(3)Data was dealed by using an adaptive multisensor fusion technology to improve the validity. It was proved that this method is better than the arithmetic mean method. SQL Server database management system was used to manage data. Fluorine gateway was the solution of front-end client interacting with the background database system.(4)Aiming at the shortcomings of the TCP protocol in the field of greenhouse, the improved UDP protocol was put forward by drawing lessons from TCP handshake mechanism, which ensured the reliability of communication and improved the transmission efficiency. Combined with fuzzy control technology, the intelligent greenhouse control was came true.(5)The management platform with high stability, strong ability in cross-platform and user experience rich was designed, including the Web client management platform based on Flex and the mobile terminal management platform based on Android.System is running in Changshu Modern Agriculture Industrial Park. The system runs stably in the past year and a half, which proves that the system platform is high stabilized and human-computer interaction interface is friendly. The effective management of the modern greenhouse environmental information and accurately remote control are realized.
