With the portable terminal mobile facilities, wearable display of fast-growing demand for products, the flexible display as a whole new generation of display technologies emerge slowly, continued to be widespread attention in the industry. Flexible display impact, not broken, thin, rollable, small footprint, portable and other comprehensive advantages,so become the new darling of the new generation of display technology. In this study, the main entry point to a flexible TFT backplane, involving the different studies of flexible substrate materials, the reliability of the flexible curved line of research in the different microscopic metal traces, Reliability of electrical bending process. Using a low temperature coefficient of expansion as a polyimide flexible substrate material, which was coated on a glass substrate, then deposit the barrier layer, and then TFT device fabrication. Through rigorous laboratory tests proved flexible display technology is the most critical of flexible backplane technology has reached the mass production level.
