At present, along with the development of the e-government in our country, it provides convenience to the public. Meanwhile, the e-government causes the "trust island" problem. But with the construction of the e-government toward to interoperability and resources sharing, we must confront and resolve the problem of multi-CA mutual trust. The purpose of this paper is committed to resolve this problem. It designed and realized an electronic certification platform in e-Government.Firstly, a brief analysis of the PKI interoperability was introduced, including several parts of interoperability and some technical problems about all parts. It conducted a through research about some typical mutual trust model and analyzed their respective characteristics and the application scopes.Secondly, a detailed analysis of multi-CA cross-certification from the policy guidance, user needs and business requirements is lucubrated. It theorizes that multi-CA cross-certification is of great consequence to the development of the development of Chinese e-Government.Finally, an electronic certification platform in e-Government was designed and realized, including trusted source management, encryption service management, and other parts. The trusted source management, deploying in the trust management agency, is the core of the trust platform. This chapter has also designed the electronic certification platform in e-Government. The platform has been used in application and yielded notable results, which prove the platform is feasible in engineering. In this paper, multi-CA mutual trust in e-government is investigated. It designed and realized the electronic certification platform in e-Government, which brings a totally new research angle to this area.
