The Evolvement Of Shengjing Times Punctuation

This paper mainly studies the ShengJing Times evolution and characteristics of the new punctuation usage. After examining the ShengJing Times, the author combed the using of new punctuation marks on the ShengJing Times. The new punctuation development can be divided into four stages: the emergence of the new punctuation, transitional stage, severe changes, stagnation stage. The author respectively find out of the new punctuation changes of each page, column, and supplement, and the differences of each stage compared to the before, when does this change begin. The author summarized these changes, concluded the features of ShengJing Times new punctuation characteristics and how it reflected on the ShengJing Times."The usage of ShengJing Times is in continuous development, what influences does the development of the new punctuation bring to the ShengJing Times, the author also analyzed in this paper, what is the function of the new punctuation marks, from the layout and format to language expression.In the end of this article, ShengJing Times new use punctuation is not lag in the first place, the hysteresis is appeared in the later period, compared with the same period newspaper Da Gong Newspaper, ShengJing Times is relatively lag. Why this lag phenomenon appeared, the author analyzed from the perspective of political and cultural factors and the newspaperman’s thought, and finally find out the ShengJing Times new punctuation use lag reason.
