The career of meteorological satellite has been through a rapid development in recent years. Meanwhile, the species and quantity of the instruments carried by satellites, and the related tasks of data monitoring are also under a rapid growth. As an important branch of the FY-3C meteorological satellite’s ground application system, the data processing system of microwave imager is responsible for dealing with the time-phased meteorological data issued by the imager, which is provided for scientists to study. The above system is beneficial to strengthen our country’s monitoring for the ground remote sensing data, and can also help the work of weather forecast and disaster prevention.As a national key project, the author participated in it during the internship in Aerospace Hengxing Science and Technology co., LTD. Using the process oriented thoughts, the author has completed the design, implementation and test of the data processing system of microwave imager and its subsystems, which includes the channel spatial resolution matching product, the polar sea ice covering subsystem, the sea surface wind speed subsystem, and the ground precipitation subsystem. As to the problems of the existing system, including poor reusability, low dealing efficiency, unintuitionistic results and so on, the author completed the software design based on the pipeline-filter software design pattern, that is abstracting the similar parts as reusable products or modules, which can ensure high reusability of the system, improve the development efficiency and reduce the development cost; As to the modules which need to deal with large amounts of data, the author used the multi-threading technology to shorten the running time and improve the efficiency; And to get reasonable results of RGB values, the author used JPEG images to make the results more intuitive.As present, each subsystem has been launched, and the actual operation shows that each subsystem has good reusability and short development time, and the generating aging of which can meet users’ demands, thus laying a solid foundation for the maintenance and upgrading of the future data processing system of microwave imager. And the outputing JPEG browsing graphs can also reduce the workload of users’ post-processing. It is user-friendly for further scientific.
