With the growth of China’s economy, prosperous trading market increases rapidly and the quality of people’s lives is higher and higher. But even in such a good situation, bad phenomenon such as food safety problem and counterfeited products emerge in an endless stream which reminds us to be always carefully. The truth that counterfeit and shoddy products have a long history promotes the updating of anti-fraud technique. Because of the big benefit of counterfeited products, a lot of criminals make and sell fake and inferior products at the risk of breaking the law. Anti-counterfeiting is a powerful weapon to crack down on such kind of phenomenon, which makes the counterfeited products show their true color, exposes the masks of the criminals and protects the rights of consumers. As time goes by, fake and shoddy means emerge endlessly which gives anti-counterfeiting technology a great challenge. And moreover the rapid development of commodity economy put forward more requirement about usability and potential replication to anti-counterfeiting technology. After analyzing the advantages and disadvantages of present anti-fraud technique, this research finished following works:(1) This research designed a two-dimensional secure matrix code. Unlike the traditional codes which contain dark and light color blocks, this anti-fraud code was generated by micron-grade dark dots which were arranged before the light color background. The figure of this matrix code were divided into many different regions, and the number and location of dots in each region could be used to present the target information. As the area of dots is micro and the quantity is huge, people could not break the security with their naked eyes, and forgery would fail due to the loss and shift of dots resulting from the decrease of figure quality when sampling and printing, which is the key of this anti-fraud technique.(2) Considering the universality of the two-dimensional code, this research presents a new method which could combine matrix anti-fraud code to QR code, after analyzing the possibility. We call it the combined code. The combined code has dot matrix in light color cubes and among which the figure position part is not included, as it is important for decoding. The combined code could not only be read by other two-dimensional decoder, but could also be identified by special anti-fraud equipment, which made the traditional two-dimensional code anti-counterfeiting.(3) This research designs and develops several programs to encode and decode these two security code properly and quickly after introducing their graphical structure and encoding specification. And all the programs are tested to verify their function and performance.
