As the quick development of the mobile network, the configuration, maintenance, optimization of the network is becoming more and more complicated. In this condition, the importance of the ability of network that it can configure, optimize and repair itself is becoming much more important. Therefore, SON technology comes out.Applying SON technology into TD-LTE base-station OAM system is aimed at improving the smartness of base-station. Base-station can sense the environment and the parameters of the network by the sensors. OAM of base-station can make some analysis and decision according to different condition.SON involves a very wide range, the application of SON in the OAM system of TD-LTE base station is also very complex and huge, a thesis cannot contain all the modules involved in SON, so this thesis focuses on the research and design of four modules:(1) Base-station self-booting function module;(2) IKE & IPSec module;(3) BFD module;(4) RRU ring network foundation module.Base-station self-booting module can save a lot of human work when base-station boots than before. Base-station can boot up by themselves other than human’s operation. IKE & IPSec module can enable Base-station to encrypt the data packages in authentication and communication in order to ensure the safety and protection of information. BFD module let the base-station can quickly discover the issue and cooperate with other protocol to find a new links which is available when communication links go down. RRU ring network foundation module will rebuild the cell with the redundant fiber and backup configuration when fiber links the RRU and BBU breaks.This thesis will research the function module and the technology they use. And the network foundation, working & testing process, program flow will also be designed in this thesis. All of the four module has passed the test and verification. The research work of the whole process is summarized in this thesis. The thesis also looks forward to the future application of SON in mobile communication network.
