Design And Implementation Of Graduation Thesis Management System Based On Web

The dissertation is a summary of what student learned during the 4 years who is going to step into society. With the rapid development of network technology and universities’ enrollment increase, college administrative methods and modes of teaching have undergone great changes. The rapid development of information technology provides a fast, accurate and reliable information exchange channel to our society, and the way people work and their inherent habits of mind has been changed.According to the practical needs of teaching administration of Luoding Polytechnic, a reform has been conducted to former graduates’ dissertations manual management system by using information technology, and the Web-Based Graduation thesis Management System has been researched and developed. In the process of system development, the use of new technologies and new tools is emphasized in this paper. Taking Windows 7 as the operating platform, using NET framework Visual Studio 2005 as the development tools, combined with SQ L Server 2005 database which is based on B/S structure model, the system is developed in accordance with the development of software engineering methods. The ASP.N ET technology and UML technology makes a safe, convenient, practical system with a clear st ructure. It has a good expansibility, maintainability and platform independence, and greatly enhances the performance of the entire software system.Through the design and implementation of system, the the possibility of N ET framework adopting ASP.NET technology systems was explored. The main content of the thesis is as follows: firstly, we introduced the background system development, the key technology used in the system was discussed, then the demand analysis of the system was conducted in detail. We also described the system framework, system program flowchart and module structure diagram. secondly, the overall design and database design was presented using the UML object-oriented modeling techniques, the detailed description of the system at all levels of function modules was demonstrated and the specific design of the Academic Affairs Office assigns including the total teaching tasks,the secondary colleges receive and arrange the tasks, departments receive and distribute the tasks,classes transmit the tasks to the teachers and students was accomplished. We also carried out systematic tests. At last we summarized the advantages of the system and the need for improvement.The theme of academic work in colleges and universities is from practical needs, and the system uses two-way choice for students and teachers to guide the management model, provide an effective solution to the difficult topics of the second thesis. The dissertation can improve the quality of management and efficiency, build an open, fair and equitable principle environment in the management of graduation dissertations, which has a strong practicability and feasibility in practical teaching. Through practical use of the system, the Web-Based Graduation Thesis Management System improves the scientific, standardized management of the dissertation work, enhances user- friendly management, and has a very good promoting effect and certain applicable value.
