With the maturity of LTE standards, research on performance optimization of service becomes more concerned. As one of the most important service in LTE, voice service needs to be studied also. LTE radio access network introduces the shared-channel design, voice signal and data are transfered on the same wireless resource. So how to schedule the wireless resource effectively becomes the key point.Firstly, this thesis studies the characteristics of LTE access network and resource scheduling mechanism, then proposes an improved algorithm based on the semi-persistent scheduling. The key point of this mechanism is to import the priority into LTE scheduling algorithm. The improvement wishes to enhance the utilization rate of wireless resource and capacity of users. Secondly, this thesis estimates the probably enhancement of performance by theoretical analysis. Finally, we realize the algorithm on LTE module of NS-3 and prove the performance optimization by analyze the result of simulation.The main content of the thesis is organized as follows:The second part introduces the LTE and VoLTE technology; the third part analyzes scheduling mechanism on MAC layer, and summarizes the existing scheduling schemes; the fourth part designs the priority based semi-persistent scheduling scheme, and analyzes the effect of it theoretically; the fifth part simulates the scheduling scheme on NS-3 simulation platform, and prove the optimization of performance.
