Abstract/Summary:
With the continuous development of computer technology and networks, the contents of the large web sites continue to enrich and the static resources of the large web sites are increasing constantly. Based on such fact, the accessing speed declines in the certain circumstances of fixed network bandwidth. As an integral part of a large web site, static resources play a crucial role in optimizing access speed for large web sites. The static content acceleration techniques for the large web site will effectively enhance the visit experience of users, as well as the stability of the backend servers.In this thesis, according to the studies of the acceleration techniques of static content for large web site, an acceleration scheme for website static content is proposed, which adopts backend distributed cache servers and browser local cache access techniques. And an acceleration system for a specified large web sites is developed, which is named FengChao acceleration system and realizes the static content acceleration for Baidu large-scale advertising system. The main work of this thesis is as follows:1. The large-scale web site static content acceleration scheme is proposed. With this scheme, BDRP (Baidu Distributed Redis Platform) is used to solve cache storage problems of large-scale web site backend server. AOL’s (American Online) open source project WebPageTest is used to solve the issue of accessibility to the local cache of large web sites. By using virtual desktop technique as well as close the browser crashes prompt technique, it makes user have no specific perception before or after caching.2. FengChao acceleration prototype system based on the aforementioned scheme is designed and implemented. This acceleration system includes a client application and backend server. FengChao acceleration system collaborates with distributed cache servers and backend servers of FengChao system to achieve static content acceleration for FengChao system.3. Functional testing, performance testing and stability testing for FengChao acceleration prototype system are conducted. According to the test results and application, the prototype is optimized and improved.The test results and and application reveal that FengChao acceleration prototype system can speed up the client access to Fengchao system, reduce the number of requests carried by backend servers of FengChao system, and improve the stability of the enterprise backend services. In conclusion, it has met the design requirements.
