Research And Design Of IPTV Terminal Management System Based On The TR-069 Protocol

IPTV is a service based on Internet, it has a variety of terminal forms and high intelligence, and is such a high interactivity and species diversity that it has high demands on privacy and security. How to carry out the effective management of IPTV terminal is an imperative resolved problem in Internet industry.Interface between IPTV terminal management system and Set Top Box studied in this paper is the DSL Forum Tr-069 protocol, Tr-069 protocol is based on TCP/IP application layer protocol, which provides communication standards between the STB and ACS server. This protocol defines RPC methods on top of SOAP that use for the configuration, queries, diagnostic and other operations. Therefore, through interactive communication so that it can monitor and configure information of STB.The main content of this paper can be summarized as follows:First, research and analysis the communication protocol between ACS and STB. Second, implementation FONSVIEW integration of video terminal management system and in detail study of the system. Third, develop and formate the system interface in windows platform by using Java language, eclipse and mysql database and so on. Forth, verify the communication protocol between ACS and STB is Tr-069 via Ethereal. Finally, verify FONSVIEW terminal management system to meet the performance test requirement by using LoadRunner.The system has the following advantages:(1)Distributed deployment. ACS server support load balance cluster model and deployment according to the load of each partition; (2)Based on SOA. The Operators can quickly and easily deploy new service through standard interface. Once deployed this system can apply to Television, appliance computer and mobile terminals and so on in many areas. Therefore, the operators greatly reduce the investment cost.
