UAV aerial images have the advantage of relatively low price, flexible and convenient. the use in some aspects-mapping, natural disasters, air aerial observation and more. However, the number of images obtained UAVs, small shooting range, unable to meet the actual needs of the people, so they need people to handle aerial image mosaic design system problems, to get a relatively large field of view of the image, to help people be more comprehensive and intuitive to understand the situation of the target area for the practical work play an important role.In this paper, for the previous aerial image mosaic needs a lot of time, more complex problems, FAST improved detection algorithm, developed a UAV aerial image mosaic system, saving time, reducing the workload, the effect is better.The main research work in this paper are as follows:(1) For the problem that the traditional algorithm takes too much time, the FAST algorithm is improved, and the algorithm based on multi scale FAST and rotation invariant LBP operator is proposed, which reduces the computation time and improves the matching efficiency.(2) According to the characteristics of UAV aerial image overlap region is irregular polygon, this paper proposes a weighted image fusion algorithm, quadrilateral into overlapped region of the image fusion rules, reduce complexity, eliminate the seam, fusion effect to achieve smooth transition.(3)The use of Visual Studio2010 programming correction and image correction, image stitching and other steps designed to develop a UAV aerial image mosaic system based on improvements of FAST. The system interface is simple and clear, simple, convenient and fast through the system can obtain images spliced, basically meet the practical needs.
