As informationization propulsion, information is more and more decentralized and complex, while more and more. The fair or foul of information management has a direct impact on the utilization of information and the work efficiency.Equipment information management refers to the classification, organization, storage, searching, life cycle management and edition control of equipment information, in order to ensure the completeness, accuracy, safe sharing of information and ordered circulation, and provide data and gist for the usage, maintenance and promotion of equipment. It provides support for being in good condition and quick generation of combat effectiveness of equipment. Equipment information not only contains a fraction of data from designing and manufacturing but also all data from usage procedure even more. Compared to mainly aiming at developing procedure in Product Data Management, equipment information management whose nut is document management is mainly directed against usage procedure of equipment.It sums up the history of document management and analyses the problems in equipment information management such as management chaos, low efficiency and lack of control, and centers on the system modeling, way of equipment information management, database designing, and drawing publishing and so on.(1) System Modeling. It uses Unified Modeling Language to analyze and build the use cases model, sequence model and collaboration model and guarantee the integrality and correctness of function and structure by analyzing and describes the system in view of software program.(2) Way of Equipment Information Management. It analyses the deficiency of the way of file management in operation system and establishes the management model of equipment information, coding rules, edition control and life cycle model.(3) Database Designing. It analyses the relation of entities and creates the data-tables in equipment information management and designs the safety and integrality of the database. It lays the foundations of validity and integrality of equipment information.(4) Drawing Publishing. It puts forward the optimized algorithm based on binary tree and builds the functional frame of drawing publishing and realizes publishing based on repeatedly development of AutoCAD.Finally, it develops the system with SQL Sever 2005, ASP.NET 2.0 and JavaScript in .net, and achieves the management aims of equipment information, which is in favor of sharing of equipment information and reliability of equipment maintenance.
