With the trend of the broadband and mobile character in mobile communication network, LTE brings together mobile broadband wireless access, fixed broadband wireless access, and cellular mobile communications system. It supports high-speed mobile and all-IP architecture, which has satisfied various service needs, so that the user’s communication quality will not be infected by space and communication methods. However, LTE resource management is facing a great challenge, owing to the rapid growth of the number of users, and the diversity of service needs makes it more difficult. Therefore, in order to achieve the goal of faster data transmission, higher throughput and shorter delay, a good resource scheduling algorithm must be designed for the LTE system.The algorithm of LTE resource scheduling proposed by this paper, based on M-LWDF algorithm, combines the characteristics of the LTE system and proposes a threshold-based weights resource scheduling algorithm. Under the premise of many factors, the proposed algorithm takes the maximum delay time as the reference to set the time threshold, and adopts the packet scheduling to achieve balance, so that the performance of the LTE system is optimized.Firstly, the status of Wireless resource scheduling is introduced, and the LTE system architecture, protocol architecture, resource scheduling methods, and link adaptation techniques are analyzed in detail. Secondly, this paper presents LTE resource scheduling algorithm, and problems faced by LTE resource scheduling, as well as some of the traditional scheduling algorithms. Then the paper proposes an improved scheme based on M-LWDF algorithms, scheduling model and scheduling strategies are described in detail. Finally, the paper tests the improved algorithm in detail by building a system testing environment to carry out experimental verification. The simulation results show the effectiveness and correctness of the improved algorithm, achieving the goal of the LTE resource scheduling.
