In recent years, in order to solve the problem that the efficiency of current network communication model is not high, the academia puts forward a new kind of network architecture. It is called Information-Centric Networking. In Information-Centric Networking, the protocol stack structure using information name as the core replace the traditional protocol stack structure using IP as the core. According to the new network architecture, how to design a network routing protocol that make full use of the network characteristics is a key problem that must be solved.In this thesis, the cognitive intelligence and social skills are introduced to the network node, and a cognitive routing protocol is proposed. First of all, according to the characteristics of the Information-Centric Networking, the thesis designs the structure of the router and network model. The second, the thesis designs the basic structure of the network node, including Content Store, Pending Interest Table, and Forwarding Information Base. Finally, perception behavior, inquiry behavior, learning behavior, inference behavior and feedback behavior are introduced into Information-Centric Networking Routing Protocol, and the social skills are introduced to network nodes. Nodes get the neighbor state and adjacent link state, popular content, local network topology information through the perception behavior. Nodes get neighbor cache table and friend cache table through inquiry behavior. Nodes get the request experience path information and response experience path information through the learning behavior. Nodes get fans relationship, friend relationship and friend cache list through inference behavior. Nodes get the cognitive knowledge to help make routing decisions using the above cognitive behaviors through the feedback behavior. In the Information-Centric Networking, nodes have social skills, and they can get helpful routing information through asking their neighbor nodes, follow nodes, friend nodes.The thesis puts forward the cognitive routing protocol in the Information-Centric Networking, and carries on the simulation and performance evaluation. The results show that the proposed cognitive routing protocol can take full advantage of the characteristic of the Information-Centric Networking, and perfectly fits cognitive intelligence and social skills in the Information-Centric Networking. In the protocol startup phase, stable phase and node to join or quit phase, the proposed cognitive routing protocol has a better performance, so it is effective and feasible.
