Research And Implementation Of Smart Campus Information System Based On IoT And Cloud Computation

With the fast development and deep application of global IoT, smart earth, smart city, smart campus, cloud computation and new generation mobile wide-band network, we are approaching a digitized and networked smart society. Smart campus is an important embodiment of smart city, and the architecture and development mode is an epitome for smart city in certain range. Built in early days and the construction mode is not capable of providing sustainable development, traditional campus have not performed effective sharing, interconnection and fusion although the application systems have already developed independently. Thus, to improve the management and service level of smart campus, the research on the interconnection and information fusion in smart campus is becoming more and more important.The thesis gives a preliminary research and suggestion for design and implementation of IoT information system in smart campus. First, the development state of IoT technology, cloud computation and smart campus are introduced. Then the key technology, architecture, application fields of IoT and key technology of cloud computation are focused. Based on this, the hardware architecture and technical solution of information system for smart campus based on IoT and cloud computation are given, and system architecture, typical application system design(including smart environment surveillance, smart traffic, smart security, smart fusion as four typical applications), application support platform, multiple sensing network are introduced. And the software design for the typical application systems are given with research objective and main functions introduced. Finally, the smart fusion system is selected as an example of smart campus information system based on IoT and cloud computation, when the system realizes the information sharing, exchange and fusion to solve information island problems, meet the practical needs of smart campus, and provide a suggestion for similar campus construction.
