With the development of information technology in education, more and moreresources are integrated into the smart campus including hardware and software.Facing the increasingly complex needs from the applications, how to integrateresources to provide quality services has become to the most urgent problem to solve.On the basis of the study of cloud technology and cloud service, this paper designed asmart campus support service platform based on the cloud computing in order toprovide support to build a sharing, efficient smart campus. It’s the applied research oninformation technology in education which integrated information technology intoschool’s day-to-day teaching, research activities and other fields using the mode ofcloud service.First, we determined the cloud services provided by the platform through theresearch on user needs and the analysis of the existing application system in smartcampus. The platform provides the service of data storage and computing, userauthentication and single sign-on, web services register and access as PaaS.Second, we determined the design of the support services and way of using themthrough the research on cloud computing and other related technologies. The serviceof data storage and computing uses Hadoop to deploy cloud computing clusterenvironment which include HDFS and MapReduce. We encapsulated distributedstorage and computing into PaaS in order to allow usesrs to access in a fast way and aproxy is used to solve the problem of permissions when remote user access to HDFS.We introduce priority and weighted round-robin into cluster resource scheduling. Theformer makes the allocation of resources can be dynamically adjusted and the latterenables a lower priority job can be completed within a reasonable time. Consideringthe heterogeneous of underlying cloud infrastructure, user authentication service usesinterface oriented programming technology to decoupled authentication code. Ticketsand cookies are designed to record user’s identity information in single sign-onservice. We only use user’s non-sensitive information to generate user tickets toachieve the goal of single sign-on. The service of web services register and accessprovides interfaces to register and find web services in order to make web serviceseasy to use and user-friendly.Finally, one DSCP,one WSAP and one UAP are experimented to validate thedesign proposed by paper. Users can use computing service quickly only need toupload data source files and code source file. Moreover, default implementations ofcommon statistical tasks are provided. And cluster resource scheduling reached thehigher the job priority, the faster the execution efficiency target. Single sign-on process does not use sensitive information of user such as password to improvesecurity and user authentication uses dependency injection to improve the versatility.Through the unified management of web services, services to share become moretransparent and reduce the difficulty of using web services at the same time.
