In the design and research of optical remote sensor in the traditional, we often use the spot diagram, aberration evaluation methods, these methods can only evaluate the imaging quality of optical system, but not the imaging of the entire lin k, so these methods have limitations. In order to find out the reasons for the decline of satellite image quality and improve the resolut ion of remote sensing system, we need to consider the problem from a new angle. Using information theory can analyze remote sensing system design optimization from the entire link angle. From the perspective of information theory, remote sensing system is composed of subsystems, each subsystem has its channel, remote sensing system is equiva lent to a channel of two-dimensional image signal transmission, information in the channel attenuates, resulting in deterioration of image quality. This paper use information theory to make model, calculate and analysis the information transfer process of the remote sensing imaging system.First, doing one-dimensional treatment to the spatial data objects, using the point spread function of optical system to format a two-dimensional spatial channel matrix of optical system. Simultaneously confir m the information transfer index, the similarity of op tical system imaging and target scene is described by mutual information, the information transfer capability of optical system is evaluated by channel capacity, and use the channel matrix to calculate of the optical system of information transmission parameters.Secondly, based on the principle of information theory, make model, calculate and analysis the information transfer process of the attitude stability, satellite platform vibration and CC D sampling system in remote sensing link, construct channel matrix of the spatial and frequency domain, confir m the information transfer index, give the calculated data and the analysis results. Based on this assemble each subsystem into a cascade channel and analyze the law of information transfer.Finally, improve Fourier Analysis, through formula derivation, we obtain the two-dimensional frequency domain channel matrix, and then calculate the frequency domain information transfer parameters of optical system.The conclus ion of this paper will provide a reference for the design of optical system and image restoration technology.
