With the continuous advancement of modern technology, Intelligence equipment continue to penetrate into people’s daily lives. Mobile phones develop form the general communication tools for people to the intelligent entertainment, communication and learning tools, which greatly changed people’s habits. However, original fixed-line telephone has gradually fade into the wilderness, and its usage rate gradually reduced. In order to change this situation, the fixed telephone is seeking a way out in the direction of intelligent and begin to carry the operating system on hardware to become intelligent fixed telephone. This makes the fixed telephone not only has the basic functions, but also has a video call, browse photo albums, music, surfing the Internet and other multimedia function to add a new color for people’s life.This thesis is based on Android system to develop and test the drivers. Since the Android system were released by Google in 2007, Android system has attracted a large number of mobile phone manufacturers and research and R&D team to develop and research, because of its openness, portability and other characteristics, and Android system can be transplanted to many hardware platforms. The market share of Android system has surpassed the IOS system. Android system has become the world’s largest system and its market share is growing.This thesis describes the features of hardware platform and analysis the Android framework and the Linux kernel architecture to have a deep understanding of the software and hardware platform. In order to implement the K ernel drivers, it is necessary to understand the working principle of the specific hardware, so this thesis introduces the operating characteristics of the audio management chip WM9713 and serial works and AT command control of 3G wireless module.This thesis analyzes the ALSA audio framework of Android system and introduce the relevant driver file within the framework of audio, and then write the drivers of WM9713, improve the functionality of the underlying driver to achieve a switching function of audio playback. In serial drivers section, this thesis analysis the serial works, details flow control method, write the serial port driver with flow control, and realize the serial communication between the processor and peripherals. Finally, this thesis analysis the drivers of 3G wireless module and uses the function characteristics of drivers to write the test file, and completed 3G module tests.This thesis focuses on development and testing of specific hardware device driver, and provide a viable solution, which has reference for other Android platform to realize the underlying drivers.
