As the CPC’s official newspaper abroad in Paris during Anti-Japanese War, the Au Sécours de la Patrie played a pivotal role in the dissemination of the party’s ideology, and unity against Japan. This paper attempts to base in the history of journalism and communication of its research, and the perspective of political socialization function of the mass media, to study the women reported on the Au Sécours de la Patrie in qualitative and quantitative way, combined with journalism, communication, political science, sociology, history, psychology, women’s studies, semiotics and other discipline theory. This study is to investigate Au Sécours de la Patrie’s political socialization function, in order to enrich the depth of the history research, and provide reference for today’s media operation.I found that the women reported of Au Sécours de la Patrie play on political socialization function excellently. First, on the part of political culture, it combines the influence of audience consciousness as well as guiding public opinion. Second, on the part of construction of political value, it deepens traditional value concept as well as breaking the old idea and create the new. Third, on the function of formation and change in political attitudes, it resorts readers to fear and construct the harmonious as well. Fourth, in shaping the political personality, it shapes mocks and symbolics political personality. Fifth, in terms of maintaining and changing the political system, it develops the "women’s liberation" and explains the relationship of "liberation" with "women’s liberation".Though, Au Sécours de la Patrie has concentrated in the "media", the reports deviation on impartiality, objectivity, comprehensiveness, and to a certain extent, shape the women are supposed to resistance "masculine" and "social". But overall, the Au Sécours de la Patrie gives full play to the power of the mass media as the ideological state apparatus, to the general audience through large amounts of information transmission. It propagandas for the communist party’s new political knowledge, ideas, values and rules, make public opinion for preparing for the socialist revolution of the proletariat, and finally successfully achieved its goal and achieving the function of political socialization.
