With the adjustment of agricultural structure and the relevant national policy support, agriculture develops rapidly, especially animal husbandry output value accounted for the entire 1/3, according to the National Bureau of statistics data show,livestock every year remained at about 30% of average value, the increase in the farmers economic income at the same time, but also to promote the national economy circulation, an increase of GDP. Although large-scale farming has gradually replaced the traditional extensive farming methods, but the trend is still not change during the breeding process of extensive management mode, ventilation,heating, sewage facilities is not perfect, not even, cause the growth of livestock environment is bad, easy to cause the animal disease, death, livestock products and poor quality.According to the animal husbandry farms between layout features, the use of sensor technology, ZigBee technology, Linux technology and other related advanced networking of embedded technology, it designs a livestock farm environment information remote monitoring system. Completion of the main tasks are as follows:1) In the analysis of domestic and foreign about environmental monitoring design data and domestic livestock farm management model in the foundation,proposed the design plan of animal husbandry farms real-time environmental information monitoring. The content of proposed scheme using ZigBee technology for processing through the ARM central platform of ZigBee wireless sensor network collect environmental data, then the packet to the remote monitoring center through the GPRS to send data module.2) In a low cost system design requirements, the selection of specific modules of the system. DHT11 was chosen as the temperature and humidity information acquisition module; using CC2530 chip as ZigBee wireless sensor network module organization, build a wireless network, is responsible for the transmission of environmental data to the coordinator; ARM11 is selected as the embedded hardware development platform, receiving, responsible for handling environmental datadisplay, storage and forwarding and other related operations; using GPRS DTU as the remote information transmission mode and is responsible for sending data to the remote monitoring center.3) The preparation of the application layer of ZigBee protocol stack the user program, mainly the realization of functions: automatic organization of ZigBee network, collecting environmental data, send data environment. Write embedded platform to run the program: embedded system including building construction and transplant Bootloader, Linux kernel, Linux file system, run the program under the environment of Qt GUI, GPRS DTU sent procedures etc..4) Using MFC class design of monitoring interface for remote monitoring center and the function realization. The main task can make the monitoring center for data exchange through the socket technology and GPRS DTU, receiving ARM11 platform through the environment of GPRS and Internet data through network, to realize the field of livestock farms environment remote monitoring.The whole monitoring system after the design is completed, after debugging and assembling, put in the field environment of the stability and the packet loss rate test. The ZigBee end loss for the average rate of 0.13%, GPRS end loss for the average rate of 0%, the system has stable performance, good working condition, can the normal acquisition of livestock farms environmental information data, can realize the dynamic display, real-time storage, timing forwarding functions, meet the low cost of livestock farm environmental monitoring information demand.
