With the development of infrared imaging technology, infrared imaging system has been widely applied in military, medicine, agriculture, security and other fields. To solve the existing problems such as low resolution and complicate readout method of infrared imaging system, an optical readout and uncooled infrared imaging system based on heat induced refractive index change material was proposed in this paper. The research focused on broadband infrared absorber theory and its design method. The experimental platform of optical readout uncooled infrared imaging system based on heat induced refractive index change material was designed and built. The infrared images of electric iron and human hand was got, which laid a solid foundation for the realization of the high resolution infrared imaging.The main research work of this thesis:① The status quo at home and abroad, the scientific and technical problems of the infrared imaging system were studied. Aim at high resolution requirements of infrared imaging system, the optical readout uncooled infrared imaging system based on heat induced refractive index change material was proposed.② To meet the requirement of detection target surface’s absorption layer, the absorption mechanism of absorber with four layers metal-dielectric film structure was studied, and the theoretical model was established. The numerical simulation verified the theoretical model of the absorber.③ Combined the theoretical model with the particle swarm optimization algorithm, this paper designed a broadband infrared absorber with absorption band in 8-14μm. The influence of absorber parameters on its absorption was calculated. The reason of different absorptivity between measure and theory was analyzed.④ The system scheme plan of optical readout uncooled infrared imaging system based on heat induced refraction index change material was proposed. The experimental platform of infrared imaging system was built. Carry out the imaging experiment with the experimental platform of imaging system. The influence of substrates with different thermal conductivity on imaging system was studied.⑤ The research work of this paper was summarized, and the improvement program of the experimental platform of imaging system was put forward.
