In the 1930 s and 1940 s, there are a lot of foreign friends and journalists reported the real society and the Anti-war’s statement with just and objective attitude regardless of their personal safety. As a consequence, China won a lot of sympathy and support of in the world. Among them, Edgar Snow and Helen Snow made a great contribution to the victory of China and the economic and cultural construction. One side, they organized the industrial cooperative movement, raised money to set up companies, lobbied the government in order to make the economic can work well. On the other side, they published a lot of news about the real statement of China, broadcasted the sprite of the Chinese Anti-war, exposed the guilty of the Japanese and so on, all the behaviors of them helped China win more sympathy and materials aid. At the end of the war, the Sown couple faithfully disclosed the divergence and contradiction between KMT and CCP. What’s more, they rushed about the frontline in the anti-Japanese base, and fight against the news blockading of KMT and published a lot of faithful news.In a while, the Snow’s effort to China is great. Therefore there are a lots of researchers did many research and achieved a lot, specially the research method they took, such as the history method, dialectical method and the comparative study method. But some research still lack of systematic and scientific and credibility.This paper will take research on the Snow’s activities in China in the 30 th and 40 th of the twentieth century, analysis the effects and the motivation of their activities, and the influence on Sino-U.S. relation. To reach the goal of all-round presentation of their activities, break through the lack of integrity. Hope this paper can make a contribution to the development of the Sino-China relation.
