With the developing of computer application, technologies of Virtual-Testing are becoming important trends of complex system’s development, evaluation and verification in national defense field. Virtual Test General Support Framework is the core of technologies of Virtual-Testing. While, most existing Virtual Test General Support Frameworks, which based on CORBA, don’t provide effective mechanism of logical time synchronization and efficient data transmission methods. Furthermore, most of them don’t ensure the Quality of Service(QoS) of application systems. Thus, in order to ensure the validity of Virtual-Testing’s causality, improve the running efficiency of Virtual-Testing and achieve the predictability of end-to-end systems, carrying out the research of technologies of Virtual Test General Support Framework is of great importance in theory and practical value.Considering the practical demand of Virtual-Testing, on the basis of depth analysis of related research work, this paper makes a deep study on VIrtual Testing and enabling Architecture’s(VITA) time management mechanism, distributed multi-point asynchronous communication and assurance mechanism of QoS. The major work and innovations include:1. Most existing Virtual Test General Support Frameworks to advancing their system time based on the mechanical clock and don’t support the mechanism of logical time management. As a result, it’s difficult to ensure the validity of systems’ event interaction causality. For this problem, this paper has presented a client-server-based VITA time management implementation method, which add a Time-Stamp-Order-Data-Queue in the client Interaction-Management-Module and modify the data processing procedure of this module’s Proxy. And then this method add domain’s global time manager in the server Operation-Management-Module, which uphold the time information of all nodes and response the client’s time request and calculate LBTS. In this way, we have achieved the compatibility of processing VITA original data and TSO data and ensured the validity of Virtual-Testing’s interaction causality.2. The current VITA use the single event channel to transmit data, which will cause the single event channel overload and increase the data transmission latency when there are a lot of nodes in the Virtual-Testing and they transmit a large amount of data concurrently. For this problem, this paper has presented a Event-Service-based VITA multiple event channel data transmit method. It create local event channel to transmit data in each Virtual-Testing node according to the transfer demand of different type of data flows. Then, it’s connected the different event channel via the multicast technology. Thereby, it has achieved data transmission concurrently via multicast event channels and improved the efficiency of data transmission.3. VITA can’t meet the demand of the end-to-end predictability and priority-based data transmission service in systems that require QoS assurance mechanism, such as missile Virtual-Testing system. In order to solve this problem, this paper has presented a VITA QoS assurance mechanism based on CORBA notification service. This mechanism regard the CORBA notification service as the fundamental support service of VITA QoS and has achieved QoS assurance of Virtual-Testing application by invoking CORBA Qo S service.Based on the above research, the time management service and mulicast event channel data transmission method and QoS guarantee mechanism have been designed and implemented in the VITA. Tests show that the optimized VITA can ensure the validity of Virtual-Testing’s causality, reduce data transmission latency and achieve the predictability of end-to-end systems.
