As a kind of wireless mobile communication network which is no center and self-organizing, ad-hoc network gets more and more widely used in daily life, because of its efficient self-organizing, dynamic changing of network topology and other characteristics. The routing is chosen intelligently by the way of multi-hop communication in ODMA(Opportunity Driven Multiple Access) network. Because of economical and convenience in building network, ODMA network has received increased attention. Traditional routing algorithm is not suitable for ODMA network. A new proportionality algorithm which is suitable for ODMA network is put forward in the article based on the characteristics of ODMA network. Considering the ODMA network applications in the positioning system, an improved positioning algorithm is suggested which can improve the accuracy by using its characteristics.The main work of this paper is as follow.1. By studying the existing routing protocol of ad-hoc networks and summarizing the advantages and disadvantages of the routing protocols and algorithms, this paper introduces a equilibrium routing algorithm for ODMA network.2. By contrasting and analyzing the new routing algorithm and the traditional algorithm, we found that the new algorithm is more suitable for ODMA network.3. The triangle centroid localization algorithm has been improved after the research of existing localization algorithms.4. Based on the comparison, the results show that the new algorithm localization accuracy was improved under given conditions.
