Among the visual measurement methods,binocular vision system with linear structured light is the most efficient technique for reversing engineering because that the binocular system can be calibrated easily and the linear structured light can help capturing details of the object's shape accurately with a high density point cloud.The cross structured light system is more advanced than the single line structured light system,but there are some problems in the technical implementation.The following research is carried out around the measurement technology of binocular system with linear structured light in this paper.Several methods of visual measurement are expounded in this paper,the advantages and importance of linear structured light measurement is introduced after compared with others.The binocular measurement system and the linear structured light are studied.The limitations of the scanning efficiency and the poor smoothness in edge reversing of the single line structured light are analyzed.At the same time,the advantages and technical difficulties of ambiguous matching in the cross structured light measurement are analyzed.A binocular system with linear structured light is determined.The parametric model of the camera is analyzed,the internal and external parameters of the camera are calibrated by experiment.Several image filtering techniques are described,and the experimental results are compared.According to the characteristics of the images captured from cross structured light and laser,the filter on images of cross laser structured light is determined.In this paper,the method of extracting the center of light stripe of linear structured light is studied.According to the characteristics of cross laser structured light image,the light center extraction scheme is determined and be supported by the results of the experiments.The measuring principle of binocular stereo vision is described.The advantages of cross structured light measurement and the existence in the process of the binocular stereo matching ambiguity are analyzed.A matching method with an additional planar constraint is proposed for the ambiguities,and the feasibility robustness and accuracy of the method was verified by experiments.The principle of 3D reconstruction method is studied,and the feasibility of applying it to the point cloud of linear structure is analyzed.In this paper,the coded points are introduced into 3D reconstruction method for the potential ambiguous matching problem in point cloud matching procedure.A point cloud was made and the method was verified by experiments.
