These can be found in the green energy, one of the fastest growing energy for wind energy. Ours is a country based on containing huge wind resources, if this resource can be fully utilized, will bring enormous economic and social benefits. Nowadays many researchers through reasonable design of wind farm layout to make full use of the resources,but the current problems are, the wind farm layout design optimization of over-reliance on commercial software, the high cost of power generation units of wind farms and unit wind generator output low power. By now a large number of experiments show that after the adoption of intelligent algorithms to optimize the layout of the wind farm, these problems have been effectively improved, such as raising the output unit of wind turbines while also reducing electricity costs.In this paper, the wind farm layout optimization problems mainly in the following two aspects: Optimal placement of wind turbines and wind turbine generator unit selection optimization.First issue for the wind turbines were arranged three intelligent algorithm to compare results more suitable particle swarm optimization algorithm for this problem. Although relatively draw more suitable optimization algorithm for this problem, but compared with other literatures concluded that this algorithm optimization has not yet reached the goal,need to continue to improve the algorithm. Considering the algorithm searches for patterns and strategies to influence eventually find the optimal solution, so you can try to search for patterns and strategies to improve particle algorithm to achieve the goal of further optimizing their problems. Particle swarm optimization network structure particle search pattern has can be considered as the topology of the network structure of mathematics nodes completely regular topology network with a high degree of aggregation, completely random topology networks with small average path length of these significant advantages,but it two types of network topology does not show the real network topology. Small-world network model described in this article are in line with the real network topology, and this model has a short average path, clustering coefficient characteristics. Based on the characteristics of small-world network model, the particle swarm optimization particle in the search mode is set to the local mode, and the neighborhood structure of each particle(search space) structure constructed for the small-world network model. PSO algorithm in this method improved search depth of particles increases, but also to avoid premature convergence, thus effectively improving the quality of understanding, prompting the algorithm eventually able to find a better optimal solution. Finally, the experimental results show that the improved PSO algorithm to optimize the wind farm layout problems can get very good results.
