Simulation Research On Revenue Of IaaS Cloud Computing Service Dynamic Pricing

In recent years, as the transformation strength of a new generation of science and information technology, cloud computing technology has become the focus of domestic and international numerous fields. IaaS as a basic service in the cloud computing service, faces some problems, like big investment, high technical requirements and professional ability of operational. Many powerful companies at home and abroad have begun to provide IaaS cloud services, and it caused the price war of cloud computing. At present, the basic IaaS cloud service pricing methods is use on demand, the single pricing model. So how to extend the pricing strategy and methods of cloud IaaS services, and how to gain the maximum revenue on the price competition is a hotspot in the research of the current cloud computing.This article first introduces the concept characteristics and the existing problems of cloud IaaS service, then discusses the current situation and disadvantages of cloud computing services pricing, and finally focuses on researching the revenue of different IaaS cloud service pricing mechanisms, and the revenue of dynamic pricing mechanism under different resource allocation. The specific content is as follows:(1)Induction and classification of IaaS cloud services pricing mechanism. Mainly to induce and classify the current market pricing mechanism of cloud IaaS service pricing mechanism, and then divide the pricing mechanism into three kinds: static pricing and dynamic pricing mechanism, static pricing includes pay-per-use and subscription pricing mechanism. And then compared the static pricing mechanism and dynamic pricing mechanism of profits, from the perspective of economics analysis. Last proposed a dynamic pricing based on a heuristic method. The model are simulated by Repast. It turns out that, in the long run, the dynamic pricing mechanism can bring more profits to IaaS cloud service then static pricing mechanism.(2)Analyze the IaaS cloud service resource allocation model based on queuing theory. The paper analyzes the progress of the service based on the theory of queuing theory, and the service model of the request queue and services. Then divided the customers into two types, long-term and short-term, and divided the services into first come first service, and based on the priority. Last the paper proposes two kinds of IaaS cloud service model based on priority. The model are simulated by Repast, the resource allocation based on the priority is more conducive to improve the resource utilization and benefits of IaaS cloud services.
