The digital home industry was one of the strategic industries which the national Twelfth Five Year Plan assigned a priority to. With the increasing popular life concept of digitization, networking, and intelligentization, the family entertainment integration becomes an inevitable trend. The article mainly researched and designed the motion sensing game on family entertainment platform. The study was from the perspective of industrial design, the user centered design thought was the key point through the research process. Combed with the research theories of system analysis, cognitive psychology, ergonomics, design methodologies, and product development, this paper provided an industrial solution of the game system and proposed a product design method which was used to solve the product development problem.In the theory study part, firstly, the sensing technology at home and abroad were discussed to explore the game technology for ordinary home. Secondly, from the perspective of user experience design, interaction design, and cognitive psychology method, the user experience of the game interaction system was studied to put forward the software-hardware interaction design principles. Finally, the article proposed “multi-hierarchy needs” method. The method bases on hierarchy of needs which aims at developing an effective way to convert the user research results into design scheme. By stratifying the stages of design and defining the implement of each hierarchies, the needs will be collected in a more targeted way, as a result, the hierarchical and constraints relationships will become more distinct.Then the article applied the research results to the enterprise product. Finally, the functional prototype was constructed and the product was listed. The market feedback was good, which verified the feasibility of the design and the reasonable of the “multi-hierarchy needs” method.
