Semi-physical simulation system mainly as a means of testing and evaluation guided weapons, the demand for the amount of data and data transfer rates continue to improve, the existing data transmission methods can not meet the growing demand for semi-physical simulation system. Aiming at solving low transmission speed in some project, this paper put forward a kind of optical fiber data transmission protocol based on the theory data transmission, design solutions of optical fiber communication. To complete the requirements, this paper use optical transceiver and PCI 9054 and FPGA to fulfill hardware design. The system constitutes of PCI card and optical fiber data transmitting card and optical fiber data receiving card.The main contents of this paper are as follows:Firstly, this paper analyzes the module of Open System Interconnect(OSI), propose the module of optical fiber data transmission consist of physical layer, transmission layer and application layer. Taking advantage of this module, this paper defines the frame of data transmission and encoding/decoding rules.Secondly, this paper designs the overall hardware solution and accomplishes the schematics and PCBs of each part. This paper uses optical transceiver to complete the exchange of optical signal and electric signal in physical layer in optical fiber data transmitting/receiving card and performs the data conversion parallel-to-serial and serial-to-parallel by using SERDES. In PCI card, this paper applies PCI 9054 to transform PCI bus protocol to local bus protocol. To satisfy the requirement of transmission layer and application layer, this paper makes use of FPGA to define the frame of data and data encoding/decoding and system logic control.Thirdly, this paper completes modular programming of logic control. Basing on the modular design principle of FPGA, the system includes the local bus protocol module, data buffer, the optical data transmitting/receiving module and data encoding/decoding module. To satisfy logic control, each module works orderly.At last, this paper builds a system test platform including PCI card and optical fiber data transmitting card and optical fiber data receiving card and test PC to testify performance of the system and evaluate the system performance.
