In recent years, with the popularity of smart-phone, the number of the smart-phone softwares have achieved a rapid growth. However, the user experience quality of the smartphone softwares is uneven. A small number of the smart-phone softwares on the market with excellent user experience and good reputation are mostly created by well-known large enterprises, but the other smart-phone softwares which have designed by Small and medium-sized enterprises(SMEs) and individual developers are difficult to get users’ favour, usually because of their bad user experience. In the "experience economy" era, user experience often decides the success of a smart-phone software.From the user’s point of view, smart-phone software user experience is largely decided by the interaction experience of user interface. But, there are more and more users complain about the user interface, such as the complicated interface, confusion of navigation, low efficiency of interaction and so on. With the latest development of smart-phone, the industry as well as the academia pay more attention to the design of software interface with good user experience. But compared to the research on interface design of PC software and web which has experienced several decades of development and become increasingly mature, the study on the interface design of smart-phone software is relatively scattered and scarce. In the actual project, many SMEs and individual developers are still lack of the guidance of systematic and scientific methods, this makes systematic research of user experience oriented software interface design method of smart-phone become more urgent. In such a circumstance, this paper focuses on the topic of user experience oriented software interface design of smart-phone to study the interface interaction paradigm of smart-phone firstly, then to discuss the interface design principles and design process of smart-phone softwares, finally to apply related research achievements to the author’s practice project.To sum up, the main results of this paper are as follows:① Based on the relative theory of interface interaction paradigm, this paper puts forward a kind of user experience oriented CMM-DMI paradigm of smart-phone, which summarizes the factors related to the user experience of interface container elements, information sign elements, operating component elements, interactive dynamics, interactive mode. It has vast importance to the smart-phone interface design.② To combine the subject knowledge of Computer Technology, Science of Human-computer Interaction and Artistic Design etc., and from the view of functional planning, information architecture, visual design these three important user experience design stages, this paper proposes a set of key interface design principles for smart-phone softwares. At the same time, based on user experience design theory, famous experts’ opinions and enterprise design cases, the scientific of those specific design principles have been theoretically demonstrated and analyzed with cases.③ According to the user experience and interface design theory, this paper discusses user experience oriented interface design process of smart-phone softwares and applies the design process and some design ideas of the earlier part of this paper to the interface design practice of a Smart Scenic App project, thus reflects the actual effects and application values of this study.In summary, to study the smart-phone software interface design, this paper makes a bold attempt to comprehensively use interface design theory, user experience theory and methods of Computer Technology, Science of Human-computer Interaction and Artistic Design etc.. Hoping the interaction paradigm, design principles and design process will provide some reference for the relevant practitioners.
