Abstract/Summary:
In the IP-based data communication network, network topology changes will cause the re-convergence process of routing protocols, which will inevitably result in short-term traffic transmission interruption and then lead to the loss of data transmission. The re-convergence time of current routing protocols is too long. With the rapid development of today’s network, telecom operators have higher requirements on the convergence time. IP F RR technology enables faster recovery time by pre-calculating routes, greatly reducing the loss of flow. Therefore, Network equipment makers must test the function of fast reroute to ensure it works normally.The tranditional test methods have been unable to meet the demand of the new test requirements for those improving functions and fast updated versions. Intelligent Test Cloud realizes unified management and dynamic allocation of resources, which provides the effective automated test services and makes up for the deficiency of the tranditional test methods.In view of the practical need of routing protocol(RIP and OSPF) of H3 C company, a set of IP Fast Reroute test suit based on Intelligent Test C loud system is designed and implemented. The main contents include:① The basic principle and technology machanism of IP FRR technology are researched and analysised in detail. Then the technical details of the two parts are studied intensively.② It works out the functional requirements of the Intelligent Test Cloud system ITC and discusses the overall architectural and the module partition mechanism of ITC.③ Combined with RFC protocol standards and product demands, two kinds of test case include the manual and the automatic calculation for the next hop of the backup path are designed based on the IP FRR technology of the RIP protocol and OSPF protocol. Then under the guidance of the test cases, the test cases are described with TCL language, completing the development of the test scripts and implementing the automic test suits.④ The test environment is built and the test results are got by running the test scripts based on the ITC system. Then the results are analyzed.The test results show that the test suits designed in this dissertation are effective and feasible, and the test suits provide for the reliability and stability of IP FRR technology for network equipments.
