With the development of broadband access and the mobile Internet 3G, 4G technologies, the communication requirement of people changes from single communication methods as voice calls, to the direction of integrating multiple communication methods such as multimedia calls or conference, instant message, coordination work and so on. Unified communication is a communication mode that unified all communication methods by Information and Communication Technology.Unified communication can provide various communication methods and services at any time, any place, so it becomes the focus of communications industry. ICT communication server existed as unified communication server providing all businesses of unified communication.Firstly, this paper introduced the background and significance of the subject, unified communication concepts and status, and described briefly the meaning of implemented unified communication. Then gave a in-depth research on the mechanisms and principles of Soft-bus architecture and Message Queue. Besides, introduced two open source projects that used in the system: Redis and Asterisk.According to the actual demand of ICT communication server and the theory of Soft-bus, designed a ICT communication architecture based on Soft-bus. After that also designed the services and functions provided by ICT communication server.Considering the feature of this system, designed and implemented a Message Queue based on Redis as a message bus used in the system. At last, implemented the conference call with this architecture. Then gave the result of the performance tests on message bus and function tests on conference call, all those tests proved the feasibility and superiority of the architecture.
